Hitman 3 - Dubai Mission
Want to play as a super sharp super spy? Hitman 3 will give you these exact feelings in 6 international countries. We started our adventures first to the luxurious towers in Dubai. There I learned quickly the hard way that sometimes to get to the final destination there is sometimes a journey and you have to be patient! Within this level I recommend getting the lay of the tower (particularly Carl Ingrams home) and taking time to try on all the regional disguises. I was thoroughly impressed by a lot of the small details that io interactive includes in this game. You can make beds, trigger objects to malfunction and my favorite activity overflowing toilets! I personally find delight in bringing the mundane to gaming and making it something that the player can do and be amazed by it.
If an assassin is able to go mostly undetected in your home for the better part of an hour I would think downsizing would be in the question. The Dartmoor mansion reminded me that everything that is big isn't necessarily always better or is of quality. I, thee assassin extraordinaire had time in the mansion to visit beautifully decorated bathrooms, examine the study (decode secret safes), and briefly visit the maze and garden. HGTV could never!
Hitman 3 | Berlin Mission
Going to Germany was quite a surprise. Bringing the club to Hitman!?!? I was so satisfied by each untz, untz, untz. This level actually opened my eyes to what clubbing in Europe just might be like. The dance floor was super dense and you could literally feel the bass through the game. Berlin’s level was so fun and memorable I quickly searched YouTube for the Berlin club OST - which can be found here - to listen to! Aside from the pink ski masks and the random pizza deliveries in a biker gangs warehouse you quickly find the difficulty in reaching and eliminating your targets increases greately. There was consistent talk of drug trafficking and spiked drinks! The creators really did their best to make this level a believable experience.
Visiting the ICA establishment in China was interesting to play as well. Early on you get the sense of a storyline to notice how science and technological advancements prey on the less fortunate. We took our talents through the streets of Chongqing to a laundromat, a local restaurant, only to discover yet another underground liar with access to hackable tech. In this mission I played Agent 47 in a BOLD way (to say the least) - the most enjoyment I had from the mission is knowing I had a hand in stopping modern day mad scientists and quickly inhaling the atmosphere of the Chongqing streets.
Overlooking the cliffs while the sun sets in a beautiful vineyard in Argentina sounds like something out of a dream! Agent 47 just may have felt the same way. Not only do you get to explore the depths of the cliffs, on this level you get to survey an ocean side mansion, winery, and a super secret security lair. I made it my business to spend extra time on this map not only because of what the mission demands for the job but also because of all of the side activities that are available. Be a server, a waiter, an experienced sommilier - you name it they thought of it!
Hitman 3 | Carpathian Mountians
Do you think that a person can change the powers that be from the inside or will they too be eaten by the machine? Agent 47 must traverse that fear himself by exploring the trust he has from his fearless leader and in himself. Wherever you find yourself in life never make it your purpose to traverse a highly skilled assassin through a snowy mountain on a train. Hanging off of said training and avoiding icy tunnels and signs was stressful! Whatever the mission Agent 47 will always succeed. Keep that in mind when you’re traversing your own troubles.
If you couldn’t tell by my full playthough you would know I found immense joy in figuring out the many ways of being able to eliminate my targets. If you are someone like me who likes a bit of luxury with your violence Hitman is for you! Become the best agent you can be! No matter what anyone says I manage to always finish my kills - whatever it takes!
